The hotel that called us in said that heating had failed and had insisted on immediate repairs. I checked out the unit and found a failed direct drive fan motor, a failed relay, and damaged electrical. I made my parts list and headed for the supplier hoping to arrive before they closed.
Picked up all my parts. Time to get started!
First I replaced the damaged relay and wiring.
After replacing the fan motor I inspected the heat exchanger for cracks. It was in surprisingly good condition.
