First step was to dismantle the motor

This machine is like a large dishwasher. It jets out 180 degree water at 150 PSI. It cleaned the outer casing and end caps of the motor in 60 seconds flat.

I tested the motor before leaving the shop. It ran smooth and the amperage was good.


Time for a new pulley... This was the closet match I could find for the 7/8 shaft.

The unit was placed against the wall so the only access was through the front. I had to squeeze inside up and over the compressor and sit on the water cooled condenser. Then I had to bring the motor in with me. Easier said then done...
