These manuals are handy. I always keep them in my truck.
I arrived on site to find the ice machine sump over flowing with water. First thing I checked was the water level sensor and that tested out fine.
I then checked to see if the water solenoid was stuck open.
The solenoid was operating as it should. The strainer was a little dirty but easy to clean out. These machines should have a water filter! I got on the phone with the wholesaler and he gave me a series of tests to check out the computer board which turned out to be defective. I installed a new one and the system worked fine after.
