When I arrived the compressor was tripped off on its overload. Once cooled trouble shooting began. The compressor was found short cycling due to low suction pressure. The short cycling took out the pressure control and wore out the contactor. Both components were replaced. Cause for low suction pressure...
The evaporators grills were plugged with dust and debris restricting airflow. The product was all ready pulled so we pressure washed the cases...
The filter driers had a slight temperature drop across the them so we replaced them with a larger model of Sporlan. It was odd that all driers upstream of the TX valves had the same problem. We suspected the the drier off the receiver may have sent debris down the liquid line so we replaced that one aw well...
It was three in the morning buy this time.
When we left there was a 20 degree coil TD across the evaporators...
