Purpose:

• To reduce gas pulsations which helps to reduce vibrations transmitted to refrigerant lines
  
  
• Use only on reciprocating compressors

Installation:

• Down stream from the compressor discharge
  
  
• Mounted horizontally or vertically
  
  
• Horizontal installations must ensure the bulge is on the top to prevent trapping
  
  
• Protect from overheating
  
  
• Must be installed with arrow pointing in the direction of the refrigerant flow
  
  
• Must be anchored
