High Side Float



Operation:

1. As liquid level control, located on high side of the system
   
   
2. Operates on the rate of condensation
   
   
3. As the load increases, more refrigerant evaporates, therefore more refrigerant condenses as the liquid level in the condenser increases the valve will OPEN ON INCREASE of liquid in the condenser
   
   
   

Characteristics:

• Media temperature controlled by (temperature and pressure)
  
  
• Critically charged system only
  
  
• Evaporator may be Flooded or DX
