Electronic Expansion Valve

Valve Operation

Controls the flow of refrigerant by maintaining constant Superheat as sensed by two thermister temperature sensors one on the inlet and one on the outlet of the evaporation

This type of expansion does not respond to changes in pressure only changes in temperature

    Valve is microprocessor operated

Types

Stepper Motor Valve

this valve opens and closes in a series of tiny steps in response to commands from the microprocessor

Pulsating Solenoid Valve

This valve pushes rapidly open and closed to maintain superheat on command from the microprocessor

This valve also serves as a liquid line solenoid for PUMP DOWN control
