- Used for full or partial charge replacement
- Change vapor refrigerant through both service valves (compressor off) (pressures equalized)
- Charge vapor refrigerant through suction service valve (compressor running)
- Not acceptable method for changing refrigerant blends (zeotropic mixtures)
- Non-condensable's may be a problem
