- Properly purge all lines
- Always check recovery cylinder for non-condensable's
- Speed up charging by placing cylinder in warm bath up to 125 F max
- Start with system in deep vacuum for full charge replacement
- Charging speed depends on pressure differential, charging cylinder to system
- Check previous refrigerant records to establish charge level
